Week One - Day One

Unlike my previous cinema and animation courses that trained me in all areas of production  - this is where I show that I not only understood, but also have the ability to create whatever I desire. 

Senior Studio I

"This course encompasses the conceptual and technical skills of the senior level student. Personal process, vision, and presentation skills are stressed. The development of works for a professional portfolio, and thesis is expected." 
- Course Description

I Will:

demonstrate the capability to organize and present concepts verbally.
produce evidence of an understanding the methods of media production.
be able to communicate content in my media productions.
demonstrate the time management skills necessary to complete the post-production process.
the capability to effectively publish my media production.
research and identify screening opportunities and career goals.
           student objectives as stated by the class blog

Personal Goals

I Will:

imagine
     from concept conception to creative post-production strategies I will not limit ideas to what appears to be "manageable" or "easy".
create
     problems that will challenge me to solve in a creative way that will extend my abilities and create a better visual/interactive on screen experience.
deliver
     a product to be viewable and appropriate for a wide audience range that follows production procedure to be completed pre-graduation.

This work will ready for submission for film festivals, gallery installments etc.

Potential Pitches

Format

   interactive magazine
   short film narrative

Concept

   a series of confessionals with reenactments: justification/redemption
   *trompe l'oeil series: a series of scenarios in which the audience would have to discover the truth by the end of the piece.

*the end is an multiple choice interactive component determining the if the viewer was accurate/ containing a brief analysis on how and why this option was chosen.
