Story #3

Title

Young boy, Sledge, was out in middle of nowhere Mississippi visiting his great aunt. Him and his cousin went out, far back, to play by the creek. While playing they saw a girl their age dressed in clothes to delicate for mud, but Young boy Sledge called out to her, "Hey!" She did not respond, probably because she was bourgeoisie and did not care for silly boys and their silly games in the mud, so he thought. Sledge went on and picked up a few sticks, looked back and the girl was gone. Thinking nothing of it, when the boys finished up their games went back inside and shared the occurrence with their great aunt. Her response, it was impossible to see anyone where they were, especially a young girl alone because the nearest neighbor is miles and miles away.
